What elections are taking place this year?
Registered voters
In New Jersey, the general election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, will include the election of a new governor and all 80 seats in the General Assembly. Voters will also decide on local elections.
The General election will take place on November 4, 2025. Early voting begins October 25, 2025. Those voting in person can do so between Saturday, October 25, 2025 – Sunday, November 2, 2025 by visiting their county’s designated polling station or on June 10, 2025 at their local polling station.

How do I register to vote?
New Jersey residents can register to vote in two ways: mailing a physical application or completing the online application. The registration deadline is 21 days prior to election day. Please visit NJ’s Division of Election to determine voter registration requirements.
